What We Did Together in 2025
In its first year, the Ford Global Food Drive brought together dealerships in more than 30 countries and collected over 900,000 kilograms of food for local food banks. Here in Canada, 182 Ford dealers stepped up and gathered close to 100,000 kilograms, more than 212,000 pounds, for the communities they serve.
This year the bar is higher. Ford dealers around the world are aiming for more than 1.3 million kilograms (3 million pounds), and Steele Ford Lincoln wants Halifax to be a big part of that number.
"This is what Building Together truly means: dealers stepping up in every corner of the world to make a meaningful difference. Here in Canada, our dealer network demonstrated exceptional leadership and compassion, rallying their teams and communities to support local food banks and families in need."

Why It Matters
Food Banks Canada's HungerCount 2025 recorded almost 2.2 million food bank visits in a single month, close to twice the number seen in 2019. One in three of those visits was a child, and nearly one in five people using a food bank is employed. The need is real, and it is right here in Nova Scotia.

Ford Building Together is Ford's global commitment to strengthening the communities where its dealers live and work, with a focus on fighting hunger and supporting families. The Global Dealer Food Drive is its flagship event, and in Canada it is powered by Ford dealers like Steele Ford Lincoln partnering with local food banks in every province.
Last year, Canadians helped Ford dealers put nearly 100,000 kilograms of food on local shelves. This September, let's do even more. Every item you bring to Steele Ford Lincoln stays in Nova Scotia and lands on the table of a family who needs it. We'll share our final total in October.
